frequently asked questions
HOW DO YOU SET YOUR PRICE?
All our prices are set below the average for organic produce and those of our competitors. Our business model is built to sell at a price that will allow us to distribute affordable produce to our local community.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCE?
As a rule of thumb, everything stays fresh for a week and is sauté-worthy for the second week. You can always get in touch with us for tips on the best way to store your produce. As long as you keep the produce live (with its stem), the shelf life will be extended.
WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?
On the same day your order is harvested. Deliveries take place up to two times a week.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT?
Our minimum is 10 boxes/week. Exceptions for 5 boxes/week can be made. A standard box order has about 12-15 crops and a bulk box order has about 18-22 crops.
WHAT KIND OF PACKAGING DO YOU USE?
Breathable plastic sleeves. Bulk packaging does not include the packaging. Packaging can be altered on a case by case basis (but why use extra plastic anyway?)
IF I ORDER A LARGE AMOUNT, CAN I GET A CHEAPER PRICE?
Absolutely. If you order more than the requirement, in bulk, or you are a consistent customer in the Sky family, we are more than willing to make you a deal.
I WANT SOMETHING THAT IS NOT ON THIS LIST, CAN I MAKE A REQUEST?
Requests are welcome! Sky Vegetables dedicates sections of the greenhouse to each buyer they have in order to empower our customers.
